The 2018 Badass Books Reading Challenge has been, by far, the most rewarding part of my first year of blogging and this post is the perfect way to bid farewell to 2018 and re-focus on all my goals for 2019.
Most importantly – a million thanks to everyone who participated! I loved seeing your comments, tweets, and updates throughout the year!
I probably won’t be able to keep this post short and sweet – I read 62 books in 2018 and many of them fell into multiple challenge categories. So feel free to skim through what interests you and then head on over to see what I have in store for the 2019 Badass Books Reading Challenge!

“I had a giant penis in my purse.”
I should have known – if the very first sentence in the book was “I had a giant penis in my purse.” – I was going to love this book. Tripping on a Halo is my first romantic comedy and it was a heart-stopper! I was thrilled to receive an ARC of Alessandra Torre’s latest work, but I’ve made a couple of failed attempts at romantic comedies this year. I’d decided that maybe I just wasn’t a romantic comedy kind of girl. I’m supposed to read a funny book as a requirement for my 2018 reading challenge and everything I’d tried so far ended up falling flat and ultimately being shelved. It’s ended up being the absolute hardest category for me to fulfill and I did not see that coming. I love humor, but apparently not in book form. Then I got my hands on this little gem.
